THE FUN CONTINUES WHEN DREAMWORKS ANIMATION’S HIT TROLLS: THE BEAT GOES ON! PREMIERES ON APRIL 2 ON DREAMWORKS

NBCUniversal International Networks’ 24-hour HD channel dedicated to kids and family entertainment – today announced the Asia premiere of the animated television series Trolls: The Beat Goes On! based on the animated feature film Trolls (2016) to air from April 2 in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.

Trolls: The Beat Goes On! is an all-new chapter in the hair-raising adventures of DreamWorks’ Trolls. Join Poppy, Branch and all of Troll Village as they keep the dance party raving in their fantastical forest home. Picking up where the blockbuster film left off, the Trolls are settling into a new era with Poppy as Queen.

During the 22-minute episodes, these big-hair characters get themselves in and out of all sorts of situations revolving around the ever-positive Poppy and the pessimistic Branch. Bursting with their signature positivity, irreverence and a whole lot of original music including the upbeat theme song ‘Hair in the Air’, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! opens up the colourful world of Trolls for new adventures and a dance party around every corner!

Executive produced by Matthew Beans (Robot Chicken), the series features Amanda Leighton (This Is Us) and Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) as the voices of Poppy and Branch; with original songs written and produced by Alana Da Fonseca (Pitch Perfect 3).
